An arson attack on a car in Craigavon early yesterday morning is being branded 'mindless' and 'senseless'.
PSNI and firefighters were called when a car was set alight in Ardboe Drive at half past midnight.
In a Facebook post a police spokesperson said that if it had spread the blaze could potentially have been fatal.
"If this had set fire to the houses, make no mistake, we could be talking about fatalities this morning. Thanks again to the swift work of our NIFRS colleagues, this blaze was contained."
An investigation's been opened and officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have noticed unusual activity.
