Ballymena police are to put more resources into tackling the ongoing menace of scrambler bikes in Ballee.
That's what they've promised North Antrim MLA Robin Swann.

Assemblyman Swann North Antrim UUP Chairman, said: “Following the matter being raised with my office, I am pleased that the PSNI have undertaken to commit more resources to addressing the issue, especially in the Shanlieve and Shancoole areas.
“The PSNI will increase neighbourhood patrols in the area and mobile patrols will pay special attention to the area at key times.
“I understand that in some cases, parents are bringing children and their motorbikes to the area and just dropping them off.
“This is a very dangerous act and it’s not so long ago that a mother walking in a park in Belfast was killed by a scrambler so the risk to life in the area is serious,” warned Assemblyman Swann.
