A schoolboy has been seriously injured in a crash in Co.Antrim.
He was struck by a car in the village of Liscolman shortly before 5pm.
It's understood the nine year old was playing football when the incident happened on the Toberdoney Road.
A man aged in his 70’s who was driving the car was arrested.
He's currently in Police custody assisting with their enquiries.
The Schoolboy was initially taken to the Causeway hospital in Coleraine.
The Straidbilly pupil was then airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for treatment.
