Two windows have been smashed at a house in Antrim in a suspected hate crime.
A piece of brick landed in a one year old baby's cot at the property in Tarragon Park in the early hours of this morning.
Luckily the child wasn't in the room at the time.
It's understood the young family are originally from Poland.
Detectives say the actions were 'reckless' and have asked anyone who saw suspicious activity to get in contact.
Sergeant John Hamilton said “At 2:20am today, two windows at the property, one at the front kitchen and one at an upstairs bedroom were smashed.
"The piece of brick used to smash the upstairs window landed in a 1 year old baby’s cot.
"However, due to being sick the baby was lying with their parents at the time.
"These reckless actions could have caused serious injury had this not been the case."
