334 new cases of the virus have also been detected in the past 24 hours, according to the Department of Health.

The department's death toll since the start of the pandemic has risen to 1,931.

Bed occupany in hospitals here is currently sitting at 92%.

There are now 585 people with Covid-19 being treated in local hospitals, with 66 in the intensive care wards.
