Crowds gather for a vigil for Noah Donohoe in Falls Park

Last night, crowds gathered in Falls Park in West Belfast for a vigil for the Noah Donohoe.

The 14 year old teenager disappeared on 21st June, with his body being found 6 days later in a storm drain off the Shore Road in North Belfast.

The vigil was part of the wider #RememberMyNoah campaign and was held as 'A Big Blue Heart' for the St Malachy's pupil was moved from Black Mountain to the top pitch of Falls Park.

Murals for the teenager have appeared across the province with two having been painted in North Belfast, one in the New Lodge and one on North Queen Street.

Mural painters Michael Doherty and Marty Lyons said on social media "This is only the start myself and Marty intends to highlight this cause every chance we get."

People across Northern Ireland have been posting their own Remember My Noah painting on social media. Garden walls, garden sheds and windows have been painted with blue hearts in memory of Noah Donohoe.

Landmarks throughout Northern Ireland have also been lit up in a message of solidarity to Noah and his mother Fiona.

The Tinnies sculpture in Fiona's home town of Strabane was lit up blue , along with Belfast City Hall.
