DAERA's new online application system for Single Farm Payments 'increases accuracy and reduces penalties'.

A spokesperson was responding to calls by the south Armagh farming community to retain the postal system for those with poor broadband.

The department notified the farming community by letter, that postal applications for the scheme will no longer be accepted.
