A defibrillator stolen from the Carrick Rangers FC Academy has been found in a river, according to the club.
It's thought to have been taken as the 3G pitch at Taylor's Avenue in Carrickfergus was used for "what looks like a party" on Sunday night.
The kit has now been recovered but there are worries its no longer usuable.
In a Facebook post, the club said: "The equipment can be replaced but sadly one of the hundreds of members of our local community who use the 3G pitch who may have relied on it to save their LIFE could not be replaced so easily.
"Actions have consequences and in this case the potential consequences don't bear thinking about."
