A shocking video has emerged of a driver travelling the wrong way along the A4 near Ballygawley.
The footage of the motorist travelling westbound was posted on a Facebook page.
The incident is believed to have occurred around lunchtime on New Year’s Day.
Now, police are asking motorists to pay careful attention to road signs.
They say they’ve have had several reports of drivers joining from side roads and turning onto the wrong carriageway.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this latest incident.
Chief Inspector Roy Robinson says police cannot over emphasis the potential dangers.
“We would urge motorists to be mindful of road signage on this stretch of road. Driving the ‘wrong’ way along a dual carriageway is incredibly dangerous, given that traffic on the road can be travelling at up to 70mph,” he adds.
