Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will mark Human Rights Day today (Monday 11 December) by illuminating Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, orange.
Both buildings will be lit up orange as part of Volunteer Now’s activity, through the National Citizen Service in Omagh, to mark the end of 16 days of activism against Gender Based Violence.
Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December to commemorate the day on which, in 1948, the United National General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
