The £350,000 extension to the Park and Ride car park adjacent to the Castledawson Roundabout opens today (Monday).
There will be 192 additional car parking spaces.
An additional ten disabled spaces will be created.
The total number of available spaces will be brought to 270.
The facility has enjoyed occupancy rates running at 100% in recent years.
