Mr. Francis Toner, a local farmer in Newry convicted at Newry Magistrates' Court on two charges that goes against the welfare of animals regulations.
One case involved transporting an animal that was not fit for the journey; and the other was for causing unnecessary suffering to a bovine animal.
Mr Toner was fined £750 and received a conditional discharge for 12 months plus £15 offenders levy.
