A Requiem Mass for Reece will be held at Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart

Reece died after being struck by a car in Coleraine Saturday evening

The funeral of teenager Reece Meenan will take place in Portstewart this morning.  Reece died after being struck by a car in Coleraine on Saturday.

Following a Requiem Mass in the 'Star of the Sea' Church, he will be interred in Agherton cemetary.  Tributes to Reece have been paid throughout the North Coast, including from the Loreto College and Castlerock Golf Club.

One man was arrested in Magherafelt following the incident, and was later released on police bail.
