Paralympic athlete Jason Smyth is set to be welcomed home with a civic reception in Eglinton.
The five-time Gold medal winner claimed his third T13 100m title at the Rio games earlier this month.
He was denied the opportunity to claim another double gold after the T13 200m race was removed from the programme.
The 29 year old will return to his home village with a special ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
A number of local sports clubs will join Jason for a run from Eglinton Primary School to the community hall on the day.
