Police are investigating two reports of shots fired in north Belfast which they believe to be linked.
Shortly before 9am this morning two shots were fired near a property in Manor Street,
A window was damaged in the incident, but there were no reports of injuries.
Officers were then called later in the morning, shortly after 10,30am, to further reports of gunshots heard in the Silverstream Road area.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences in connection with the incidents and remains in custody.
Detective Sergeant Faulkner said: "Enquiries are ongoing, and we are keen to hear from anyone who has information about these incidents, which we believe, at this time, may be linked, to get in touch with us. The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 628 of 02/05/21.
