North Coast beaches have gained further recognition.
Benone, Downhill, Portrush West Strand and the Whiterocks, along with Ballycastle Marina, have been awarded prestigious 'Blue Flag' status.
Seven other local beaches got lesser "Seaside Awards", Ballycastle, Ballygally, Brown's Bay, Carnlough, Castlerock,Portstewart Strand, Portrush East Strand and Waterfoot beach.
Environmental Quality judge, Jennifer Firth, says the Blue Flag award is internationally recognised::
