Loyalist Blogger, Jamie Bryson, has denied any criminal activity after being arrested by the PSNI's paramilitary crime task force.
Police say a 28 year-old was arrested after a number of searches linked to investigations into the East Belfast UVF branch on Thursday.
The man was questioned of suspicion of supplying unlicensed door staff and was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
In a statement the PSNI said a number of items including laptops, camoflauge clothing and a BB gun were seized.
Mr.Bryson took to social media on Thursday evening claiming to have been the person arrested.
He's denied any wrongdoing.
