A major gorse fire has broken out on the Glenshane pass in Co.Londonderry.
It was reported at around 4.57am on Wednesday morning and 4 appliances are in attendance.
Flames have continued to spread throughout the day.
Firefighters say it's about a mile in length and is consisting of five separate blazes.
Incident commanders say there's currently no risk to life or property, but teams are working to control the fire.
It's still unclear if the fires have been started deliberately.
It comes as Northern Ireland experiences one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures set to reach almost thirty degrees.
The spell of good weather is set to continue for several days and members of the public have been encouraged to be vigilant around dry grass.
