A 29-year-old man has been arrested in Newry on suspicion of a number of drugs related offences.
His car was stopped by a police patrol in the Dornan's Hill area of the city yesterday evening.
A quantity of suspected class A drugs and cash was recovered during a search operation.
In total around thirty thousand pounds worth of suspected cocaine was recovered and a substantial amount of cash in follow-up searches.
