A 32-year-old man was badly injured after being assaulted by a group of men in James Street in Cookstown.
It occurred close to licenced premises around 2:30am on Sunday morning.
The man was attacked by four to five men in their 30s.
It’s believed to have been an unprovoked attack.
The man was treated in hospital for a broken jaw and fractured nose.
He also lost a tooth and had 11 stitches placed in his chin.
Police are appealing for information.
