A 32-year-old man has been charged with assault and membership of a terrorist organisation.
It follows an incident on Thursday where a man was assaulted and criminal damage caused to a property in the Andersonstown area of west Belfast.
The man has been charged under the Terrorism Act with belonging to a proscribed organisation as well as assault and criminal damage.
He will appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service
