Detectives in Belfast have charged a 41 year old man with wasteful employment of police time.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on February 23rd.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to a report of a man being assaulted on Saturday evening, January 23rd.
