It happened in the city just after half 10 last night.
A man in his fourties has been shot in both ankles by a gang of masked men in Derry-Londonderry.
It happened in the Culdaff Gardens area of the city just after half 10 last night.
It's the second person to be shot in the area in the past two weeks.
The victim's being treated for injuries which aren't thought to be life threatening.
