A 26-year-old man has been arrested after a man in his 20s was stabbed in the early hours of this morning in east Belfast.
Police were called to the scene at around 2:15am after reports of a fight in the Grovefield Street area of the city.
The victim was taken to hospital after the two were found a short distance away.
The suspect remains in police custody at this time assisting them with enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have dashcam or other footage, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 96 of 27/04/22.
