A man has suffered injuries to his back and face during an aggravated burglary in Belfast overnight
Three masked men broke into a house in Melrose Place after midnight and demanded money from the occupant. One of them was armed with a hammer while another brandished a screwdriver
The home was ransacked before the assailants made off. The resident's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
