NCA say NAMA is their main investigation in Northern Ireland

The United Kingdom's National Crime Agency have revealed more information about the investigation into the controversial NAMA Property sale.

The head of the so called British FBI was speaking at a meeting of the Policing Board in Belfast on Thursday.

Lynne Owens says they can't rule out any more arrests during their probe into the £1.2 billion property sale.

Six people are currently under criminal investigation and seven people have been questioned under police caution.

Possible crimes include fraud, corruption and bribery.

The NCA Director General says they've interviewed more than 40 witnesses.

Stormont's Finance Minister and Committee have both received confidential briefings over the issue.

Ms.Owens says the NCA have not named, and will not name, any potential suspects in the case.

That will prevent any interference in future investigations into the deal.
