Omagh has been chosen by The Red Cross as one of 8 mobility hubs in the UK.
Their hub will be handling the cleaning, maintenance and management of the charity's large stock of wheelchairs and mobility aids.
The Red Cross currently supply Northern Ireland with 3,500 wheelchairs and mobility aids on loan through the health and social care trusts.
It was reported in the Tyrone Herald, that Fionnuala McKenna the new operation manager, has said she wants to make it their goal to provide people with the mobility aids as quickly and hassle free as possible.
They're looking in to online ordering and delivering to help clients as much as possible.
