Londonderry was the second most popular destination for Black Friday shopping according to Royal Mail.
Newtonabbey topped the list of Northern Irish towns and cities where shoppers made the most online purchases in the week leading up to Black Friday and extending to Cyber Monday 2016.
Newry came in third, followed by Armagh and Coleraine.
The shortlist is based on analysis of parcels accepted from retailers and businesses into the Royal Mail network between Monday 21st November and Tuesday 29th November.
The organisation has recruited an addition 500 temporary staff in Northern Ireland to support its Christmas operation.
