NMDD worse planning processing times in NI

Newry, Mourne and Down district has the longest planning processing times in the province.

Figures released earlier show that it can take 24 weeks for a decision on an application.

The figure is said to be an improvement.

The target is 15 weeks and six of the 11 council areas manage to meet it.
