WATCH: Security alert ends as suspicious object declared "nothing untoward"

This security alert in Coalisland has ended.

A suspicious object was discovered in Derryvale Park this morning but officers have since declared it as nothing untoward.

Inspector Irvine said: "I want to thank the local community for their patience this morning & for their vigilance."

A number of homes in the area were also evacuated, according to the local councillor, Malachy Quinn.
