A 48 year old female pedestrian has died following a road traffic collision outside Derry/Londonderry
It happened on the Glenshane Road in the early hours of Monday morning.
The Glenshane was closed between the Tirbracken and Tamnaherin Roads as a result.
Inspector Gregory Smyth said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this collision.
"If you have any information that could help with our investigation, please contact police at Strand Road".
