Neighbourhood Police in Mid Ulster continued their Op Roadsafe campaign in partnership with DVA at the weekend, to target anti-social and dangerous/careless driving.
On Saturday evening, a spokesperson for PSNI in Dungannon and South Tyrone took to social media to say "this was very pertinent tonight with dipping temperatures and bad road conditions with the ice."
After carrying out the operation in both Cookstown and Pomeroy, 7 prohibition notices were issued to drivers and 1 ticket for no MOT on a car.
The spokesperson continued in the same post, "this is all focused on your safety driving your vehicle and ensuring they are roadworthy with consideration to other road users."
