Police have described an attack on Portrush lifeboat as despicable.

The vessel is a valuable life saving boat belonging to the RNLI.

The damage is described as minor and the boat is still usable for emergencies.

The charity rely's on public donations to maintain it's service.

Anyone with information regarding this crime should contact police on 101, quoting reference number 469 18/11/17.
