Police in Magherafelt are reminding drivers that the Ballyronan Road IS closed to facilitate roadworks.
The warning comes as drivers were ignoring signs indicating the road closure.
The PSNI has pointed out that the signs 'are NOT a joke.'
The road is closed until August the twelfth. A major resurfacing scheme is underway.
And, unless you live on the Ballyronan Road, you should plan another route.
