PSNI vehicles were damaged as officers responded to reports of children throwing fireworks in Derry - Londonderry.
A spokesperson said the children had been throwing the explosives at homes in the Galliagh Park area last night.
They have urged parents to know where their children are and to advise them on the dangers of playing with fireworks.
