A grieving widow says her family has been left traumatised after a memorial to her murdered husband was destroyed in south Armagh.
A plaque dedicated to IRA victim William Clarke was smashed at the weekend outside Mullaghbawn.
Police say it was a sectarian hate crime and they estimate the damage will cost £1,000.
The memorial is at the location where digger driver Mr. Clarke was shot dead by the IRA in 1977 in a sectarian attack.
A previous memorial had also been vandalised.
