A Cookstown woman whose dog was stolen has spoken of her relief at being reunited with her pet.
Cocoa, a blonde Chihuahua, was taken from the family farm in Sandholes, leaving Emily Turkington devastated.
A woman arrived at the farm in a car, saying she’d found the dog and that she’d return her. But she didn’t.
Emily then issued an appeal on Facebook.
By chance, a bystander identified a car in Cookstown – similar to the vehicle driven by the woman who called at the farm.
Coco was in the car.
