A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two women were stabbed in Coleraine.
It happened in the Beresford Avenue area around half 11 last night.
Both women are in their twenties and are in a serious condition in hospital.
The 17 year-old suspect remains in police custody.
Inspector David Jennings said: “The women, both aged 22, were attacked while walking close to Beresford Avenue at around 11.25pm on Sunday night, 13 January.
