Thousands of primary seven pupils in Northern Ireland are sitting the first of the transfer tests today.
The GL Assessment test run by the Post-Primary Transfer Consortium will be held in 21 post-primary schools.
More than 5,000 children have entered the test - the first to be held since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
