Three children have escaped injury after a failed Petrol bomb attack on their home in Carrickfergus.
The device was thrown through the front window of a family home in Oakwood Road at around 11.30pm last night.
The petrol bomb failed to ignite and has been taken for forensic examination.
A man and woman were also in the property at the time, although no one was injured.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and detectives have appealed for anyone with any information about this incident to contact them in Larne on 101 quoting reference 1405 31/07/16.
