Police in Dungannon say costumed children stole 2 mobile phones from a licensed premises near the town, yesterday evening.
It's thought 5 young people entered a restaurant on the Ballygawley Road - claiming to be 'trick or treating'.
"It was reported on Thursday 27th October at approximately 6.30pm, a number of children dressed up in Halloween costumes entered a licenced premises on the Ballygawley Road," a police statement read.
Officers say they then made off in a black people carrier - shortly after stealing a Samsung mobile phone and an iPhone.
"The children stole a Samsung mobile phone and an I-Phone, they were then picked up in a black people carrier," the statement continued.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
