Two men armed with a machete and metal bat have been involved in an aggravated burglary in Portaferry.
It happened in the High Street area of the town, just after 6pm last night.
They made off on foot afterwards.
Two suspects aged 19 and 26 have been arrested and remain in Police custody.

Sergeant McCartan said: “Shortly after 6pm, two men forced their way into a property in the High Street area.
“It was reported that they were armed with a machete and a metal bat. They made off on foot following the incident.
“A 19-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were arrested a number of hours later, and are currently in police custody where they remain at this time.”
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident, and have asked anyone who may have any information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 1565 05/03/21. Alternatively, an online report can be submitted using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/
