Up to 10,000 people are expected to take to the streets of Derry-Londonderry today to celebrate the annual Apprentice Boys of Derry ‘Relief of Derry’ parade.
The celebrations began at midnight last night with the firing of cannon on the city walls.
At 9.30am this morning, 8 Parent Clubs will parade around the Walls, accompanied by their bands before gathering in the Diamond to lay a wreath at the cenotaph.
Shortly after noon approximately 10,000 Apprentice Boys accompanied by over 100 bands will march across Craigavon Bridge in one of the biggest parades in Northern Ireland.
