The DUP's Jim Wells has this morning released emails which he says prove the party promised him his job back after he quit as health minister.
The South Down Assembly member resigned as a minister three years ago following false accusations he had made homophobic comments.
He claims previously private correspondence from senior party members shows he was to be reinstated when his name was cleared.
Mr. Wells says he's speaking out as he feels his version of events was called into question last week...
