Police have appealed for information after a woman was assaulted in an early-morning attack in Strabane.
It's thought she had been walking home from a nightclub when she was assaulted by a man.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
"It is believed the male had been involved in an altercation with another dark haired female, believed to be his girlfriend.
"Further to this, it is believed the assaulted female attempted to intervene during the altercation and at this point was assaulted to the face area, by the male."
The man is described as being in his early 20's and was dressed in a light blue tracksuit top.
The incident happened on Railway Street at around 1am on Monday 24th October.
