A woman pedestrian in her 20s has died following a collision on the Springfield Road in west Belfast yesterday (Sunday).
The pedestrian has been named as 24 year old Lucy McIlhatton from the west Belfast area.
Lucy died after being struck by a car.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving when unfit through drink or drugs as well as other offences.

Police say a silver Toyota Avensis was involved.
The man is currently assisting police with enquiries.
Inspector Philip McCullagh said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the Springfield Road area at the time and who witnessed this tragic collision or who captured footage on dashcam to contact officers in Woodbourne or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference number 1554 03/01/21.
