Derry City Football Club suffered a heavy defeat at the weekend to table leaders Dundalk.

The Candy Stripes took an earlier lead in the match at Oriel Park, but couldn't hold on and Dundalk came back to win 3-1.

It's a major setback for the teams chance of claiming third spot and a place in the Europa League.

They'll be hoping to win their game tomorrow night against Shamrock Rovers to be in the running for top three.

Kick off for that game is a quarter to 8 at the Brandywell Stadium.
