Irish FA "looking into" allegations of sectarian chanting during Big Two clash

The Irish FA is investigating allegations of sectarian chanting during last week's game between Linfield and Glentoran at Windsor Park.

It was played in front of a limited number of home fans and ended in a 3-3 draw.

The IFA confirmed it has "received correspondence on the matter and is looking into it."         

Dungannon beat Coleraine 2-0 in Friday night's Danske Bank Premiership match at Stangmore Park.

Michael Carvill and Rhyss Campbell scored for the Swifts who move above the Bannsiders into eighth place.

Oran Kearney's men have now lost four league games in a row for the first time since April 2015.

On Saturday, leaders Larne host Glenavon, Glentoran go to Crusaders, Carrick have Warrenpoint and Portadown welcome Ballymena.

They start at 3pm - the late half past five kick-off is Linfield against Cliftonville.

In rugby, Ireland host Scotland in the Autumn Nations Cup third place play-off (2.15pm). 

And Cavan take on Dublin in an All-Ireland football semi-final at Croke Park (5.30pm).

Sport NI has opened the £25 million Covid-19 scheme it's administering for the Stormont Executive. 

The Sports Sustainability Fund is designed to help governing bodies and clubs financially impacted by the pandemic.
