Cliftonville Ladies and Glentoran Women were both in seventh heaven on Wednesday night as they recorded 7-0 wins in the Danske Bank Women's Premiership.

Diarmuid O’Carroll’s Glens began their campaign with a six-goal success over Comber Rec Ladies last week but went one better with a landslide victory over Derry City at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.

Rachel Rogan netted twice for the east Belfast side, last week’s hat-trick hero Kelly Bailie this time bagged a brace with Aimee-Lee Peachey, Nadene Caldwell and Demi Vance also among the scorers.

Cliftonville did not play last week but a Marissa Callaghan hat-trick saw the Reds breeze to a 7-0 home win over Comber.

Amber Dempster was on target twice for the north Belfast side with Rachel McConnell and Toni-Leigh Finnegan also finding the net.

The other match of the second night was a much tighter affair, with Sion Swifts Ladies edging out Crusaders Strikers 1-0 at the Melvin Park Arena.

The Strabane-based side won the game late on through Ciara Grant to register their first points of the campaign after a defeat at Linfield Ladies last week.
