Sherif Lanre has left 'Love Island' after breaking villa rules.

The 20-year-old chef has "mutually agreed" to depart the ITV2 dating show after nine days on the programme, and the former Islander has confessed he made a "poor judgement".

A 'Love Island' spokesperson told BANG Showbiz: "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the 'Love Island' villa."

Sherif admitted he spoke to producers after breaking the rules and decided to depart the villa, and he "regrets" his actions.

He said: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.

"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from."

Despite departing the villa early, Sherif is looking forward to catching up with his fellow Islanders after the show ends.

He added: "I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside."

Sherif was coupled up with Anna Vakili on the show but during last night's (10.06.19) episode several fans grew concerned about where he was, with some even predicting he had "gone home".

One wrote: "Alright but has Sherif gone home or where he at? (sic)"

Another posted: "Was it just me or was Sherif just not in that episode? Have I missed something or? (sic)"

One shared: "Hopefully Sherif was getting a trim today because he wasn’t seen once in tonight’s episode (sic)"
